A custom made Wordpress theme for a website devoted to informing education stakeholders on information related to serving students with disabilities. In addition to providing more widespread access to the information, the website also replaces the paper version of FOCUS on Results.

about the project

As the Front-End Developer for FOCUS on results, I was given a site design and set out to make it into a working WordPress theme. Having some prior experience helped me develop the theme in a timely fashion.  I made liberal use of the Simple Fields plugin to allow for additional dynamic pieces of info to be added to posts.  I also made several modifications to the visual editor, including putting together an unofficial plugin to give more flexibility on how post content could be formatted. When the need arose, I developed a custom media player skin to be used with the jQuery jPlayer plugin.
